Our Physician

Dr. Nirmal Gosalia is a Board-Certified Physician Anesthesiologist and Diplomate of the American Board of Anesthesiology.

He graduated with Honors of the Highest Distinction from the University of Illinois College of Medicine. After medical school, he served as Chief Resident at Saint Francis Hospital and worked across trauma surgery, intensive care, and emergency medicine. That experience shaped how he cares for patients with urgent and complex needs.

Dr. Gosalia completed his anesthesiology training at Brigham and Women’s Hospital, a Harvard Medical School teaching hospital within Mass General Brigham. As a Senior Resident Anesthesiologist, he cared for patients across cardiac and thoracic surgery, neurosurgery, orthopedics, and obstetrics. He trained in administering general, neuraxial, and regional anesthesia techniques for patients with complex clinical needs.

Dr. Gosalia also built a strong foundation in pediatric anesthesia while training at the prestigious Boston Children’s Hospital during his time in residency. There, he learned from pioneers in the field and cared for children requiring thoughtful, age-appropriate anesthesia care. That experience continues to guide his approach to pediatric dental anesthesia today.

Throughout his career, Dr. Gosalia has focused on bringing the best of modern medicine into the places where patients need it most. For many patients and families, that means receiving safe, physician-led anesthesia care in a familiar dental office rather than a hospital.

His approach is calm, thoughtful, and compassionate. He believes excellent anesthesia care starts before the procedure begins. It requires preparation, clear communication, and careful attention to each patient’s needs.
